The measles outbreak linked to Disneyland is continuing to spread, as of 1/26/15 there have been 87 confirmed cases. Cases have been reported in 7 states and Mexico. This is literally just a plane-ride away from us here in Western North Carolina. If you are delaying your child’s measles vaccine for any reason, please call us immediately! If your are unsure of your child’s immunization status, please call us. Help us protect your children. Thank you.

It’s summertime in WNC, which means a slight change in hours here at Asheville Pediatrics. We will not be having evening clinic for the months of June and July, so if your child needs to be seen, be sure to call early so we can get you in as soon as possible. Our weekday drop-in clinic will continue to run as usual from 7:45am to 8:30 am Monday through Friday.
